Description and context

It is a new era of cultural discovery, where entertainment and learning go hand in hand. With a solid background behind them, Mar and Aleix present La Poma i La Puga, a project that seeks to explore every corner of culture (theater, music, cinema, exhibitions, museums, parks, festivals, and more) through short clips and reports on Instagram and TikTok. La Poma i La Puga infiltrate cultural events throughout Catalonia and Spain. With confidence, they are shameless individuals who turn their surroundings upside down, but above all, make artists and the people they admire feel at home!

The project started in September 2023, after the fourth season of El Camerino, a program on Icat where Mar and Aleix were hosts.

Strategy and Challenge

La Poma i La Puga is a product born from the synergies and iconic duo of Mar Puga and Aleix Manzano. As cocreators of this venture, we played an integral role in shaping its identity and trajectory. Our focus wasn't solely on elevating the individual images of Mar and Aleix as influencers; rather, it was a collective effort grounded in our expertise and synergy.

From here, we undertook tasks of creating an identity through branding based on vibrant colors related to the show, avoiding clichés. We also crafted a name playing with the journalists' surnames. We established an informal and friendly communicative tone and style.

Additionally, we coordinated event schedules with the creators, worked on content editing, copywriting, and served as Community Managers for both Instagram and TikTok.

Simultaneously, we devised a PR strategy to reach out to brands as potential sponsors, as well as festivals, awards, and other events interested in collaborating with La Poma i La Puga..
